How are Opticrylic prints made?
Your photo is UV-printed directly onto optical-grade acrylic on a swissQprint Nyala 5, a Swiss-engineered flatbed regarded as the industry flagship. The ink is backed with an archival white bonding layer that gives the colors their luminous depth, then sealed with a .060-inch acrylic back. Each piece is laser-cut to size, fitted with a recess mount, and hand inspected before it ships from our Las Vegas studio.
What is your shipping policy?
We select the most cost-effective shipping carrier based on the items ordered and their destination. Shipping times range from 1-7 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped. Orders over $150 ship free.
What is the production turnaround time?
Production time is 5-7 business days for acrylic prints. Door to door, most orders arrive within 6 to 14 business days of purchase (production plus shipping).
How do I prepare my file for printing?
Please submit your files as JPEG, TIFF, or PNG at 300 ppi, in sRGB, Adobe RGB (1998), or ProPhoto RGB color space.
How do I choose the right size?
Over furniture, art looks best spanning about two-thirds of the furniture width; on an open wall, center the print 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Our size guide walks through all twelve sizes with real-world comparisons, and the on-wall preview shows your exact size in your room before you buy.
How do I hang my acrylic print?
All prints come with recess mounting hardware for easy wall installation and a clean, floating appearance.
Can I order my acrylic with rounded edges?
Our acrylic prints come with standard straight edges. Rounded edges are available upon request at no additional charge.
What is your guarantee and return policy?
Every print is covered two ways. Our 60-day satisfaction guarantee: if you are not happy with the color, clarity, or cropping of your print, contact us within 60 days of delivery and we will reprint it free or refund you. Arrives damaged? Replaced free. Our lifetime craftsmanship warranty: if the sealed construction ever fails (layers separating, ink peeling, mount failure, fading beyond normal indoor display), we replace your print free for as long as you own it. Because every print is custom made from your photo, we do not accept returns for a change of mind, and softness caused by a low-resolution original file is not covered; upload the highest-resolution photo you have. What sizes do you offer?
We offer twelve sizes, from 8×10 up to 30×40. The eight larger sizes are available in your choice of Aluminum or Sintra recess mount. The four smaller sizes (8×10, 11×14, 12×12, and 16×20) are available in Sintra recess mount. Custom sizes up to 60×120 are available by request at orders@opticrylic.com.
What mount options are available?
Larger sizes come in two mount options: Aluminum recess mount (premium, lightweight) or Sintra recess mount (value option). Smaller sizes (8×10 through 16×20) come in Sintra recess mount. Both produce a clean, floating-on-the-wall appearance. Framing options are coming soon.
